gown have sentimental value? If it’s the gown your mother or grandmother
wore when they walked down the aisle, there is certainly nothing wrong
with it. Even if you just use a piece of the dress, such as the lace,

having a part of that person with you makes you’re wedding day all that

your second or third marriage? A new wedding gown might not be such
a high priority. You might be planning a simple backyard ceremony or
even just a quick trip to the courthouse. One bride I know plans to

What are the Possible Disadvantages?
There are disadvantages to wearing a used bridal sets as well.
A gown that
has been worn and then resold is washed before being put back on the
hanger. Some women however, might not feel comfortable, wearing
a gown another woman has perspired in. There might also be stains on
used wedding apparel that might not show up until much later in the
life of the gown. Some women might
even consider the history of a used wedding gown before they buy it.
It might make you wonder what happened to the bride and groom after
the ceremony? If the gown makes you wonder if the couple is still
married, you might want to stick with a brand new gown. If considering these disadvantages, you decide to go for a brand new gown, you can make up for it by saving money on other used wedding items. Like for instance, if you plan on a wedding outing, think about used wedding tents, or for some cheap decoration, consider used wedding bows. To add more glamour consider, used wedding veils or slips. By saving money on these items you can get yourself a brand new gown.
What you choose to wear on your wedding day is strictly up to you. Don’t let anyone pressure you into buying or wearing a gown that you don’t feel comfortable wearing. If you must, make a compromise, with the person paying for your wedding gown. This is your day, the day you’ve dreamed of since you were a little girl, make the most of it. Enjoy it.
